The Star Performer™ is a computerized measurement and analysis system used in performing SEBT and “Y” Balance Tests (Figure 1). This system tracks and displays the client motion performance in real time, stores the data and provides a report of the results. The Star Performer™ is much more time efficient than the SEBT and provides much more and better data than heretofore available.
The Star Performer™ uses a computer and sensors to provide
(1) real time graphing of the client’s motions,
(2) storage of all the data
(3) presentation of test results
A Real Time plot of distance vs time is displayed during client’s performing at each angle of the test. Maximum reach distances are detected from the real time traces of
distance vs Time. At the end of the entire test, a Radial Summary Plot is completed, and the distance vs angle data tabulated.
